Senior Financial Analyst – Ref. 6333/SFA/ESS/GR
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst, with solid background in the hospitality industry to join the Finance Department of a large-scale resort in Halkidiki. Reporting to the Finance Director, the position will focus on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, supporting the monitoring and improvement of financial performance across the resort and its diverse business activities. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the Finance team and key operational and commercial stakeholders to analyse revenues, costs and profitability, evaluate business performance and translate financial data into actionable insights. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial planning and decision-making within a complex, multi-revenue hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse revenues, operating costs and profitability across the resort’s business activities, identifying key performance drivers, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and financial plans, working closely with Finance and operational teams.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, providing detailed variance analysis and clear explanations of key deviations.
- Prepare and enhance management reports, financial dashboards and presentations, ensuring accurate, timely and meaningful information for senior management.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs across revenue streams and cost centres, with particular focus on hotel operations.
- Act as a finance business partner to operational and commercial departments, supporting the evaluation of business initiatives, cost optimisation opportunities and profitability improvement actions
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses and business cases to support investment decisions, CAPEX evaluation and operational planning.
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis, identifying trends and potential implications for financial planning.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure consistency between financial reporting and management analysis, supporting month-end reporting and the accuracy of financial data.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical tools and data quality, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Finance function.
