Hotel Manager

An independent company specializing in hotel management, consulting and development, is currently seeking to recruit for our property hotel in Thassos, professional for the position of Hotel Manager.

Hotel Manager is responsible to provide customer focused service to the guests, responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel and its staff, managing budgets and financial plans, recruiting, training and monitoring staff.

Job description

• Coordinates and manages daily operations of the hotel throughout different departments
• Checks and controls room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue
• Develops and implements operating procedures and standards
• Ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs
• Directs the control of costs and expenses in all areas
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with guests
  

• Degree in Hospitality/ Tourism
• 2-3 years minimum experience as a Hotel Manager preferably in a Luxury Hotel
• Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential
• Very good knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered as an asset
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer –oriented
• Excellent MS Office-Computer skills
• Negotiation and excellent Communication Skills
• Well groomed with strong interpersonal skills
