i assist was founded in Lefkas, Greece in 2009 with the mission "to provide high-level & reasonably priced, human-oriented services, at the place,time and way that every insured client requests and every insurance company requires".
In order to do so, since 2009 the company has developed two parallel and interlinked business units.
i assist lonian Assistance Services & i assist Medical,
i assist Ionian Assistance Services operates as an assistance company for foreign insurance companies. Through its coordinative centers in Athens, Patras and Lefkas and its wide network of health providers and experienced assistance coordinators, the company covers the needs of travelers in both island and mainland destinations.
i assist Medical manages a network of both privately owned and partening practices, which serve the clients of the collaborating insurance companies around Greece.
The cooperation of both business units allows i assist to narrow down the procedures and the people involved and insures lower pricing, faster service and higher quality.
With the traveler's security at heart and the insurance companie' s interest in mind, i assist functions with responsibility in order to : effectively respond on site to the travelers medical needs around the clock, credibly meet the insurance companies high standards of collaboration making sure that cost is contained to the necessary.
In 2011 iassist, managed and proccesed more than 10.000 cases.
