The name of Aplai Dome wasn’t inspired, but it has remained unchanged for centuries, so we decided to keep this name and its history. “Dome” represents the main architecture of the place, while Aplai used to call this property as a hillside, giving the Aplai Dome unobstructed sea views. In absolute harmony with island’s architecture Aplai Dome is built in Oia’ s area. It is only 170 meters far from Oia’s centre where you can admire the unique and worldwide known Caldera of Santorini and at the same time to visit high aesthetic shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
