Test Automation Engineer

The company and specifically the LAROS Marine Division is seeking a motivated individual who will cover the position of the Test Automation Engineer (located in P. Faliro Athens).

Job description

• Assess feasibility and perform technical planning for the installation of LAROS system on board Client’s vessels.
• Work closely with software and hardware engineers in programing and testing the equipment prior to installation
• Remotely monitor the System’s installations to ensure they are completed within specific strict time limits
• Develop, automate and document testing procedures

•  Bachelor or Technological Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent field.
•  Competencies should include:
  •  good understanding of electrical engineering principals
  •  good understanding of controls and instrumentation
  •  good understanding of programming languages
  •  good understanding of essential Hardware & Software Management
  •  ability to read and interpret vessel blueprints
•  Fluency in English (speaking and writing)
•  Ability to produce and deliver detailed installation technical manuals and reports mainly in the English language

The fulfillment of military obligations is necessary for men

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds following strict project-based limits.
• Background or previous experience in Installation Department or Industrial Automation positions is highly preferable, mostly in the marine sector
