Investment & Portfolio Analyst

lmw is seeking for an experienced Investment & Portfolio Analyst on behalf of a leading financial institution in Athens.

• Support in all areas of portfolio investment opportunities and in monitoring current portfolio investments within the Strategic Market - Greece.
• Responsible for supporting portfolio investments in accordance with Group Rules (analysis, presentations, contacts with relevant Group teams).
• Support for specific portfolio investment projects (underwriting to closing and on boarding).
• Responsible for supporting larger transactions, including supporting Group and Local M&A transactions.
• Analyze and provide input for evaluation, portfolio implementation, business plans, benchmarking servicers, etc.
• Liaise with Finance and support the local business planning and budget process.
• Interface with Portfolio Management for portfolio performance reporting as well as portfolio revaluation processes.
• Prepare reports and deliverables pertaining to Debt Servicers and other external partners.
• Analyze and adjust segmentation, allocation of strategies regularly and according to portfolio performance results and expectations.
• Monitor existing processes to identify problems and improvement opportunities by submitting proposals for corrective actions and/or simplifications.
• Maintain up to date view on expected performance compared to original/active forecast and to respective KPI’s.
• Assess Real Estate Search and Real Estate Valuation results and provide proposals for relevant follow up actions.

• Proven work experience of at least 6 years in a similar role at a Big 4 firm or Fund
• BSc or/and MSc in Business, Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
• Deep knowledge of the financial services industry and NPL market in the relevant strategic market
• Experience in transactions including NPL portfolios
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Great attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgment calls under time pressure
• Statistical and advanced predictive modelling is preferred, but not critical

• Self-motivated with strong verbal and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and effective time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally
