To meet our current corporate needs, we would like to bring to our team a
2nd Level Application Support Engineer.More specifically, you will undertake tasks, such as:- Assure the maximum level of support on incident resolution, provide feedback on escalations and comply with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Track the status of open production issues at 2nd level and ensure their timely resolution
- Timely create a “Problem” when an incident’s root cause is not identified
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for production incidents/problems
- Having the ownership, monitoring & tracking of problems! In case recurrent issues come up, you will need to engage in process improvement activities
- In this role, you will also need to reproduce incidents and verify their fix, by performing regression tests
- Participate in the root cause analysis of problems. You will break down any outages or quality issues to root causes and prevent recurrences!
Please note that our job opening, involves shift work, as our clients are located & operate throughout the world. This entails working according to a scheduled rotation program or even travelling abroad!
