ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, a well-known company operating in the Renewable Energy market is seeking for a Procurement Manager to join them.
Procurement Manager-RES (5744/PMR/ESS/GR)
Principal accountabilities:
- Leading on the RFP/RFI/RFQ procedures for the selection of commercial partners
- Assisting in the determination of project procurement strategy aligning with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Project & Construction Management, Legal, Business Development)
- Assisting in complex contractual negotiations and warranty management/settlements.
- Contractual negotiation with suppliers and contractors, including dispute resolution and renegotiations.
- Contribute to the drafting of agreements during contractual negotiations
- Organize the evaluation and contract phases of procurement, as well as the execution phase, in terms of proper receiving and invoicing
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality
- Monitor purchasing budgets per project, cash flows formation
- Liaise with the accounting team to sign-off invoices in a timely fashion and monitor/authorize payment of invoices when due.
- Oversee the systems, processes, and procurement management
- Provide support with project management activities during the execution of projects.
- Implementation of procurement management system
- Undertake relevant industry and market research and peer/competitor analysis to facilitate market-related decisions.
