Περιγραφή

ASB started its activities in Greece in March 2016, focusing on the provision of Humanitarian Aid to refugees/migrants. The country office is based in Thessaloniki. 

Job Overview/Summary: Under the supervision of the Finance Manager. the Junior Finance & Administration Officer is expected to assist in accountancy, budget management and various other administrative tasks.

Reports to: Finance Manager

Major Responsibilities
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Assisting in the efficient budgetary control for the programmes, in line with financial rules and regulations and donor requirements;
• Checking, input and reconciliation of accounts;
• Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the Finance Manager;
• Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets;
• Collect information for and assist to the preparation of payroll;
• Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees;
• Assist to the preparation of payments requests, bank transfers and cash payments;
• All other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager/Finance Officers.

Working schedule: Office hours and on a call basis in case of emergency

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

• Minimum 1 year of experience in INGOs;
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Financial Management or any other relevant field of study;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact and communicate appropriately with office staff;
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility when required;
• Budgetary control and financial management skills;
• Experience in the use of computer tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets and database software as well as
