Περιγραφή

MSC Service Center Greece Ltd is seeking to recruit 1 Legal Counsel for its Contracts Team to provide support in the review and monitoring of commercial contracts.
The Legal Counsel will be based in Piraeus providing key assistance to the existing Contract Review Team in Geneva (HQ).

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Key Responsibilities
 Draft, Review, negotiate and monitor a wide range of commercial contracts whilst reporting to the Department Manager.
 Provide general advice on legal issues and potential risks in contracts to other Departments in HQ and to agencies worldwide. Analyse whether these contracts comply with applicable laws and comply with MSC’s guidelines and rules. Offer advice and propose solutions and modifications when need arises. Provide close support to commercial persons negotiating the contracts.
 Demonstrate attention to detail and provide timely legal support in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment.
 Be a centre of expertise with up-to-date, relevant information and solutions. Maintain awareness of the changing external environment, developing professional knowledge and skills and using this to the benefit of the company.
 Liaise with external counsels when authorized to do so by Geneva.
 Create and maintain a contracts and knowledge database.


Profile
 Masters in Law (knowledge in common law is a plus).
 2 years’ experience working in contract review and contract drafting within an international environment, in common law.
 Previous experience in the shipping industry is a plus – shipping acumen is required.
 Perfect command of English (spoken and written) – French or Italian are a plus.
 Good command of Microsoft Office.
 Open-minded/positive attitude.
 Willing to work in an international environment.
 Able to work in a team yet autonomous.
 Able to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines.
 Strong communication skills.
