Back End Developer (Mid/Senior)

BIOPIX-T, a biotechnology start-up in the field of diagnostics is looking for its new offices in Science and Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C) an agile Software Engineer.

The Software Engineer will play a key role in researching, developing, testing and implementing new key technologies that further enhance the company’s products and operations.

• At least 3 years developing Java/Spring Boot applications.
• Experience working within an agile software development organization (GIT, Postman/Newman, RESTful Services, CI/CD, Containers).
• Ability to write self-documenting, clean and readable code with adequate test coverage.
• Good understanding of REST standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge about Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong knowledge of relational or non-relational database systems (we use Couchbase and MariaDB).

Nice to have:

• University and/or Postgraduate Degree in the field of Computer Science or related field of studies.
• Familiarity with ISO 62304
