ManpowerGroup of behalf of Elpedison is looking for an Operator for their plant in Thisvi - Viotia.
The ideal candidate will perform the day to day operational activities of the plant in Thisvi.
Responsibilities:
- Carries out effective response to operational demands and ensures that safe and efficient generation are undertaken, giving due regard to all plant consents and authorisations.
- Day to day activity includes “hands on” operational duty in the plant control room and/or in the field.
- Identifies and suggests improvements to plant and operating methods, changes to working methods, revisions to procedures, fault diagnosis, testing and work planning.
- Ensures that the high standards for health, safety and environmental are met, by constantly and diligently adhering and promoting company HSE standards and ISO requirements and ensuring that compliance to the above, is timely, continuous and strict.
- Supports the STL, as permit issuer, in supervising and ensuring compliance of all people in the plant with company’s policies and procedures.
- Reports immediately any non-compliance condition to the Shift Team Leader on duty.
- Undertakes training, development, coaching and accrediting to ensure that he/she achieves full potential and remains competent to operate the plant.
- Participates in a close and effective working level relationship with external interface organisations such as ADMIE and DEPA/DESFA, whilst preserving commercial confidentiality and ensuring that an auditable trail exists in all dealings.
- Ensures that at all times the commercial capabilities of the plant and up to date dynamic parameters of the station are updated and recorded.
- Executes the sampling and chemical analysis programme.
- Follows up good operation of process analysers, instruments and in general all plant system.
