IoT Sales Engineer
The Role:
Ensures high renewal and customer satisfaction levels by selling into new prospects and farming back into existing customers. Measures of the role’s success include new customer acquisition rates, new solutions sales volumes, customer satisfaction, and contribution to the overall sales team and business success.
- IoT solutions selling into prospect and existing clients along with planning, preparation, and execution on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
- Model the financial business case associated with each sale opportunity and manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
- Successfully match potential and existing customers’ needs/requirements to proposed solutions.
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
- Collect and document competitive intelligence, effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for product customization and enhancements.
The Candidate:
A smart overachiever with a passion for selling technology solutions. Excellent communicator/presenter with customer-focused mindset combined with strong analytical thinking. Attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner are key working personality features.
- Proven professional experience as a sales engineer for complex enterprise ICT/IoT solutions.
- Academic background in engineering, computer science or any other IT-related specialization.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in IoT and Networking Protocols (e.g HTTP(S), MQTT, gRPC, etc), LPWAN Protocols (e.g. LoRaWAN, NB IoT), Industrial Communications Protocols (RS485/422/232, Modbus, BACnet, etc).
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
