We are looking for a Placement Officer (Italian Speaker) to join our team in Thessaloniki (in-house position) and participate in the hiring process from A to Z.

Placement Officer’s primary objective is to act as the liaison between NEXT STEP candidates and NEXT STEP hotel clients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Placement Manager to identify staff requirements and specific job objectives.
  • Liaise with recruiting managers to be up to date with all available candidates.
  • Evaluate and screen resumes to find appropriate candidate for specific job opening.
  • Contact available candidates and secure that they are receiving best in class services.
  • Extend job offers to candidates and reassure that all stakeholders are well informed.
  • Facilitate onboarding process for candidates landing their new job positions.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork’s and follow up with all parties.
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews between candidates and potential employers.
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to Placement Manager.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements and Skills
  • Excellent knowledge about hotel operation and proven hands-on experience in hotel industry is a must.
  • Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English is a mandatory. Any other European language will be considered as an asset.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality, with strong communication skills, able to build relationships with a range of people from different backgrounds.
  • Proficient user of MS Office and eager to adopt fast new technologies and practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline with accuracy.
  • Already experienced working towards targets and KPI’s in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in collaborating within an international team will be highly appreciated.
  • The right incumbent must have the availability to participate in an onboarding and training process of 4 weeks, that will take place in our HQ in Austria. All transportation and accommodation costs will be covered by our company.
