CMS Developer

Τhe IT Center of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, responsible for operations, development and maintenance of the university’s IT infrastructure, is searching for a CMS Developer.

You will be responsible for:
· Design of websites and web applications, applying techniques: Web Design, UI-UX design, Responsive Design.
· Development of modules, plugins and themes for popular CMS (Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla).
· Implementation of supportive processes, writing reports and documenting tools related to our projects.

Requirements:
· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Informatics and Communication Technologies
· Good knowledge of English

It is strongly desirable to have:
· Web Design and Development experience in one of the well-known Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla), especially: Front end and back end development, Theming, Site Building and Configuration
· Good working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS and UI Frameworks like Bootstrap
· Experience with Operating Systems: Linux και Apache Server
· Basic understanding of databases and data models
· Ability to produce clear development and user documentation
