We are looking for young and enthusiastic people, ready to tackle the particular requirements of our Operations department.

Position: Operations Officer
Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager
Summary of Duties: Responsible for the operation of tailor-made and Themed tours according to budget.

OUR CANDIDATES ARE EXPECTED TO:
  • Operate Tailor Made and Themed Tours
  • Confirm options held and to accurately book all services required for the successful operation of the tour within the budget set.
  • Confirm bookings to the client within the agreed time frame.
  • Accurately cost any additional requests or changes.
  • Prepare and check the final arrangements prior to arrival, for any errors or changes (i.e. detailed itinerary timetable etc.).
  • Provide accurate reconfirmation and necessary booking details for all suppliers.
  • Resolve problems which may occur during the course of a tour.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all suppliers and clients at all times.
  • Re-negotiate any major services before confirming
  • Collaborate with other Departments
  • Keep track of bookings and update Themed Tours in various online platforms
  • Accompany Travelers in various Tours (meet & greet service, food & wine tours, tours for children etc.).
  • General office duties such as inbound or outbound calls, video conferences and email
  • Assist the Accounts Department with invoice queries as they arise
  • Prepare financial statements and invoices to agents as required and ensure all necessary payments have been received on time
  • Conduct special projects as requested by your manager
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager.
  • Provide Quality Control information to the Operations Manager as required.
  • Investigate and reply to Customer Service issues in a fair and balanced manner

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written, including creative writing (best if native speaker)
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage. (especially Italian)
  • Organized, accurate and dedicated
  • Good level of geographical and general knowledge of Greece
  • A positive Team Player
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and fun
  • Experience in Travel & Hospitality services is a plus
