ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a multinational company leader in its field, is looking for an experienced professional to join their team as:

Junior Legal Counsel (Ref. code 6042/JLC/ESS/GR)

Key accountabilities:

  • Draft and review legal documents and contracts
  • Undertake legal research on a variety of topics and prepare briefs and advice for internal stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of GDPR requirements and provide daily assistance in the management of relevant requests
  • Support the management of the corporate compliance program including preparing and delivering training to the business
  • Support local and global projects and requests as part of the corporate Legal Team
  • Assist the Legal Team in all relevant activities and tasks

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications & Skills:
  • University Degree in Law
  • Post graduate studies in commercial law, competition law or personal data will be considered an asset
  • Licensed lawyer member of a Greek Bar Association
  • 2 - 4 years (non-academic) relevant legal experience
  • Previous professional experience in a major law firm or corporate legal department will be considered an asset
  • Able to work effectively as part of the corporate Legal Team and cooperate with all other business teams
  • Able to identify a variety of legal issues, to apply knowledge and skills to a variety of day-to-day activities and to solve problems
  • Demonstrate understanding of other business functions, identify key issues and act to address these
  • Excellent communications and negotiations skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent use of MS Office and ability to work by using case management systems and software
  • Fluent in legal English both verbal and written. Able to draft contracts in English Knowledge of a second language will be considered an asset
  • Military obligations fulfilled in case of a male candidate
