Group AP&AR Business Analyst (Ref: AP/ARBA019)

Office Location: Thessaloniki, Greece / Halkidiki

Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Position Overview
The position will be reporting directly to the Group Account Receivable and Payable Manager and provide support for implementing successfully the organization’s Receivable and Payable strategy.

Your main responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and weekly cash flow projections
  • Plan and monitor Cash flow
  • Monitor monthly and annually Cash Flow statements for Receivables and Payables
  • Cooperate closely with Group AR&AP Manager for providing accurate and reconciled financial information
  • Monitor bank accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Conduct Bank reconciliation on a monthly basis
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
  • Manage banking relationships (external communication/updates)
  • Assist with other projects as needed
  • Support Group AP&AR Manager on Introduction AP Reporting

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Your main qualifications/experience
  • 3-5 years proven experience in consulting, private equity, banking, project finance
  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling experience in valuation and investment appraisals 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both in Greek and English 
  • Experience in understanding, reviewing and contributing to financial statements as well as financial structures 
  • Experience in translating data in business storytelling 
  • Proficient in MS Excel (i.e. data manipulation, v-lookups, array formulas, pivot tables) and rest of MS Office suite 
  • Excellent document and information processing and analytical skills 
  • Proven research, analytical and modelling skills 
  • Proven business acumen and quick understanding of the Greek hospitality landscape 
  • Superior understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies 
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to operate cross-functionally 
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with high resilience to time pressure and time accountability on deliverables 

Differentiators

  • MSc or MBA in Finance
  • High GMAT scores
  • M&A / Transaction advisory experience
  • Experience in the Greek or other markets’ hospitality sector
  • Prior experience in real estate
  • Knowledge of Entersoft and Opera
