Assistant Accountant

ICAP Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of its client, a Greek company, leader in the oils and biofuels sector, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant, based in Patra:

Assistant Accountant, based in Patra (Ref. code 4075/AA/RS/GR)

Main Responsibilities:

• Participation in maintenance of an accurate ledger
• Participation in all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, taxes, fixed asset ledgers and closing the books each month
• Efficiency and accuracy in suppliers’ & general offices expenses’ invoices entry
• Participating in ad-hoc projects as requested (management reporting, PL-BS etc.)

Candidate profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance is required
• At least 2 -3 years of relevant professional experience in an industrial company
• Very good knowledge of Greek GAAP  
• Familiarity with ERP environment is required (S.A.P. knowledge is an added advantage)
• Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (excel)
• Excellent communication skills and team working
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
