For our client, a 3-star hotel in Co. Galway, Ireland, we are looking for a Chef de partie.
Candidate information/requirements:
● The ideal candidate will have at least three years of proven work experience in a busy restaurant or similar environment.
● Qualification from a culinary school is desirable.
● HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge
● Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation, passion for delivering great food and service
● Ability to work in a fact paced environment.
● Time management
● Minimum Upper Intermediate level of English is required.
About the job:
● Full-time, all year round
● If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with permanent accommodation for €70 per week (€280 per month + utilities) in a private en suite room in shared accommodation.
● Salary after tax in Ireland for this Chef de partie role will be from €33,280 to €35,360 gross per year depending on experience (€2,340 – €2,465 net per month) for 40 - 45 hours per week
● Salary is paid weekly.
● Your duties will be working on the hot sections and mains, following directions provided by the head chef, collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service, stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station and keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
