CAPEX Controller (Ref: IR/CC021)


Job Information

Office Location: Thessaloniki, Greece (regular traveling to Halkidiki during operational season)
Department: Finance & Accounting
Contract: Full Time / permanent


Your main responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly reports for management accounts including insights for variances
  • Assist in reconciliation of Capex Module and Statutory accounts in liaison with Development and Accounting Department on a monthly basis
  • Control the correct classification of accounts and cost centers in the ERP and suggest corrective actions when necessary
  • Review the capitalization of fixed assets working together with the Accounting Department
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget outlining capital expenditure based on Group's CapEx Policy and work closely with the Development Team
  • Document, maintain, and develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls by having close collaboration with Accounting, Treasury and Data Analytics teams
  • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis and financial reports according to management’s requirements

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Your main qualifications/skills
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, IESOEL, CIMA) would be a strong asset
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience (financial analyst, costing professional) ideally in Hospitality Finance
  • Experience in Big4 or other Audit firm coupled with financial analysis
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in IFRS
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel / ERP (entersoft)
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
