Construction Engineer

Phoenix Engineering GmbH was founded on 2020 by a team of telecommunication industry experts, dedicated to providing optimized turn-key solutions in the fields of infrastructure and broadband technologies.

Based in Cologne, the company serves diverse needs of telecom and infrastructure providers throughout Europe. With respect to our clients, we strive for excellence and ensure high quality project delivery.

We are currently looking for a Construction Engineer for our ongoing projects in Germany. With organization and strong leadership skills, the candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the site throughout the delivery of the project and shall act in a professional and responsible way maintaining good working relations with the rest of the construction team, the client, our chain of sub-contractors, suppliers etc.

• Supervising construction teams or/and subcontractors to comply with technical standards and guidelines
• Managing project costs, supplies and logistics
• Delivery of the required technical documentation
• Reaching the daily/monthly production targets
• Managing communication between the organization and third parties.

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, telecommunications, or another related technical field
• At least 1 year of working experience in construction field
• Good command of the German language (current level B1)
• Good leadership, interpersonal & problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform in a multitasking & fluid environment
• EU driver’s license
• Team Player
• Communication skills
• Time management and organization skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to travel.

• Previous working experience in Germany, ideally in FTTx
• Proven leadership record of a small team
• Awareness of project management/IMS and reporting tools.
