Marketing Coordinator
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies
- Support the MDr in overseeing the department’s operations
- Collaborate with advertising agencies
- Responsible for creating digital marketing campaigns for online channels
- Monitoring all digital activities to ensure highest performance
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
- Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
- Create performance reports on marketing and sales metrics.
- Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences)
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) forecasts for maximizing hotel's revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of its accommodation, meeting and leisure facilities.
- Must maintain awareness of the factors that influence the hotel industry and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of our hotel's customers.
- Will be responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet customer needs, working closely with other hotel staff to ensure customers are satisfied with the facilities and their time there.
- In charge of the organization's entire marketing activities and therefore handles formulating, directing and coordinating marketing activities so as to influence customers to choose the organization's products over those of competitors.
Job Description
- Implement medium and long term marketing and communications strategies as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Design, develop and execute all promotional products, and special packages to secure leisure, corporate and conference business.
- In charge of all media stays and site inspections and for all filming and photo shoots on property including film, television, commercial shoots and celebrity interviews.
- Assist in preparation of speeches, press releases and other communications for the hotel.
- Work closely with Field Marketing to maximize website promotion and digital opportunities; coordinate partnership and sponsorship opportunities that will benefit the hotel and that activate passion points of fashion, music & design.
- Communicate and enforce brand standards and serve as the brand ambassador for the hotels and the chain
