Where you’ll work:
The Rooms Division department consists of three major areas: front office, guest relations &housekeeping. It is responsible for providing an outstanding welcome, registration and room assignment to guests 24/7. Myriads of questions about the hotel/resort, the facilities, the surroundingareas and more are answered and monitored daily.
What you’ll do:
You will deal with guests’ requirements assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department and all related services, achieving maximum sales and guest satisfaction, according to the hotel standards. In brief:
• Ensure that all daily tasks are completed including shift closings, room deposits, refunds etc.
• Take personal responsibilities for resolving guest complaints and report to the Front Office manager.
• Have full awareness of all reservations procedure and ensure that all relevant information is kept in Opera
• Ensure that all guests are always greeted in a helpful and courteous manner to emphasize on personalized service.
• Liaise with other departments on front office matters (e.g. reservations, housekeeping, maintenance and more)
• Have excellent knowledge of the resort and facilities as well as of daily events, activities,food & beverage functions to always provide accurate information
• Coordinate / assist all front office related tasks (receptionist, grooms, housekeepers) as assigned by the Front Office or Room division Manager
