Wordpress Developer

Bracket is currently looking for a passionate and talented Wordpres developer to join our team.

As a web developer at bracket, you will collaborate on customer-facing projects used by hundreds of customers across the globe and internal tools that allow the business to run more efficiently. The software development team at bracket is a small agile group of talented individuals focused on building applications that solve the needs of the business. Candidates are expected to display coding expertise, superior technical and communication skills and a keen ability to solve problems. You can assess and solve complex visual or functional issues with WordPress as they arise, and work within the WordPress guidelines to come up with better solutions when necessary. You have battled with the WP REST API and Advanced Custom Fields plugin and won, and can bring to life our meticulously designed visual layouts and elegant user interactions within the world of WordPress.

• Proven working experience in Wordpress, PHP, HTML, JavaScript,jQuery, CSS3, SASS
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components
• Ability to convert a design document into a working user interface with no loss in fidelity
• Strong understanding of responsive design techniques and principles
• A passion for all things JavaScript, UI and Front End Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task-oriented and organized
• Strong customer focus and obsession with quality
• Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architecture
• Loves modular and reusable components enough that you have strong opinions on and embraced one or more methodologies like BEM
