SPA RECEPTIONIST
THE ROLE
The Spa Receptionist provides an efficient and courteous service to all guests visiting the Spa, and aims to maximize the overall guest experience and introduce them to the resort’s signature lifestyle. The right candidate has:
· To welcome the guest, prepare the amenities for each arrival at the spa and to conduct a detailed tour to all spa facilities at all times.
· To advise guests on spa services most suited to their needs.
· To answer all telephones promptly and efficiently.
· To have knowledge on all spa services in detail and retail items, to communicate them effectively to the guests and focus on retail sales, adhering always to the service standards of the resort, to maintain retail sales targets and try to build returning business
· To be aware of all hotel facilities, services, events and offers, and communicate appropriately to guests in order to enhance their overall stay
· To be fully conversant with check-in and check-out procedures.
· To communicate efficiently and effectively with the Front Office and receive information about the current day’s availability.
· To adhere to all hotel credit policies, to take care of unconfirmed reservations, to take full responsibility for any cash float used and any other forms of payment receivedon a shiftand to present all accounts to company bills with acceptable back up.
· To be aware of major currencies exchanged at the hotel, and the correct procedure applied.
· To file all client consultation forms.
· To check & compile daily spa reports and statistical data.
· To be aware and implement opening and closure procedures of the spa daily.
· To maintain and prepare a monthly inventory report for all the consumables using at the spa reception.
· Maintain the grooming and personal hygiene standards at all times during the shift
· Act as an ambassador of the resort and the Spa facility, in terms of service excellence, work ethics, responsibility, flexibility, confidentiality and achievement of an outstanding guest experience
· Respect all security, health and safety regulations and fire procedures, and report any hazards or any inappropriate behaviors
· Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by management
