Sales and Purchase Ship Broker

lmw is currently seeking for an experienced S&P Broker on behalf of brokerage shipping company.

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end buying and selling cycle of ships and vessels with the aim of closing deals.
• Set up and negotiate deals, by presenting the business to potential clients, negotiating the terms of a contract or sale, creating financial proposals and looking on it until its conclusion, following up when necessary.
• Build up a database of clients and maintain strong relations by providing information about trends of the shipping market.
• Work closely with customers and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation and paperwork for the sale.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime or Business Administration
• 3+ years of similar working experience as Ship Broker
• Fluency in English, good command of other language will be a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent knowledge of ship market and relevant shipping legislation
• Knowledge of e-commerce
