Test Automation Engineer

For the strengthening of our Smart-Shore Center in Thessaloniki, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer in full-time and permanent employment.

Daily Tasks:

• Review specifications, decide on the Test Strategy
• Design, implement and maintain clean and up-to-date Test Plans
• Participate in scrum activities within your team
• Support in the estimation and planning of Test Automation activities
• Improve Quality Assurance by promoting QA processes (TDD, BDD)
• Implement and execute automated Test Scenarios (SOAP/REST APIs or e2e testing)
• Evaluate and report based on test results to identify potential quality issues

Technical Skills:

• University degree in Computer Science or Training in the IT Sector
• Experience in Software Testing in an Agile or Scrum environment
• Hands-on experience in testing client-server applications on web
• Experience in automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium)
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Will be considered a plus:

• ISTQB Certification
• Knowledge of German
• Knowledge of BDD process and writing syntax (Cucumber/Gherkin)
• Experience with an object-oriented Computer Language, ideally Java or C#
