Electrical Engineer for a permanent collaboration.
Role Profile Description:The position will be part of the Radio Networks and Power Management team, handling the design and the operational support of the company’s Power and HVAC infrastructure.
The role’s responsibilities include the optimization and the operational support of critical electromechanical (EM) infrastructure of the company’s central and remote telecommunication sites. Moreover, the role’s activities extend to the drafting of technical specifications for emergency power equipment and surge protection systems and the planning of new infrastructure implementation projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and development of Power and HVAC solutions for ongoing construction & modernization projects on central and remote telecommunication sites.
- Design and optimization of grounding and surge protection systems of the company’s telecommunication sites according to the National and European standards.
- Electrical board and equipment documentation and specifications maintenance and review.
- Optimization of the monitoring tools (NMS) available for the EM equipment and the environmental sensors of the company’s sites.
- Operational support, which includes equipment fault and malfunction troubleshooting, maintenance of active equipment inventory, new equipment acceptance and EM NMS integration as well as EM NMS troubleshooting. Furthermore, the role provides assistance and guidance to the company’s technical department and external contractors for issues relevant to the EM infrastructure.
- Spare parts management for electromechanical (EM) equipment including Electrical Boards, Power Generators, UPS, and HVAC systems.
- Standby duties (rotation) for 2nd level support to the technical department for issues pertaining to the department’s responsibilities.
- Monitoring the external maintenance and technical support contracts of critical EM infrastructure.
