Bar Manager

For our client, one of the finest 5-star hotels in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, we are looking for an experienced Bar Manager.

Your duties will be: effectively recruiting and managing employees, overseeing operations, working closely with the kitchen, generating financial and stock reports, managing a team of 12 full-time employees. You would be overseeing the main bar, and three lounge operations

Candidate information/requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience as a Department Supervisor incorporating both food and beverage operations
• Proven track record of beverage stock management and the ability to deliver budgeted cost percentages
• Proven track record of payroll management and the ability to achieve required payroll targets
• Previous experience within the 5-star market is a distinct advantage
• Advanced level of English is required

About the job:

• Permanent, full-time position
• Start: September/October 2022
• If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with one month of free accommodation. After that, you will be paying 62 € per week for a private room (utilities included)
• Salary after tax in Ireland for this Bar Manager role will be 2 670 € to 2 890 € net per month (40 000 € to 45 000 € gross; before tax, per year) on 40 hours per week (overtime is possible)
• Salary is paid weekly
