Graphic Designer

Vernilac is a large chemical industrial company, based in Mandra, Attica, you’ll be a full-time Designer, a vital member of company’s Marketing Department. In this role you will need to have communication skills, passion and talent and focus to detail in creating visually appealing as well as functional designs that communicate the company’s brand image and help develop the company’s brand journey.

Responsibilities:

• Suggest concepts/ ideas for various communication materials
• Design Social Media Content, Banners, Newsletters.
• Develop layout and design for packaging, brochures, leaflets, ads, and other materials. Create proofs for reviews, make needed adjustments in response to feedback until final design is approved.
• Prepare photographs and graphics for the printing process, including color correction and image retouching.
• Assess suitability for printing, checking, and double-checking critical aspects of each material.
• Be accountable for prepress artwork and deliverables to the print agency.
• Communicate with typographers, suppliers, and pre-press agencies about the printing requirements and prepare them accordingly.
• Interact, communicate and collaborate in a positive, respectful, and enthusiastic manner.
• Meet the deadlines.

• A degree in Graphic/ Web Design or similar.
• At least 4 years of working experience in a pre-press department or related field.
• Excellent Adobe Creative suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro).
• Communication skills, in Greek and English.
• Strong attention to detail. Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
• Active team player and critical thinker who always exhibits a positive work attitude and can work with little supervision
