Where you’ll work:
The Rooms Division department consists of many areas: front office&guest relations,housekeeping, maintenance,mini market, kids club and more. It is responsible for providing an outstanding holiday experience to all guests 24/7. It is also the department that coordinates all the communication between other departments within the hotel.
What you’ll do:
You will supervise all Room Division related operations and ensure an excellent guest experience following the company standards and procedures. In brief:
• Oversee Rooms Division operations including, but not limited, to Concierge, Reception, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Kids Club, Mini Market and Spa facilities.
• Monitor all front office financial operations, including group billing, verifying rates/discounts, daily sales reconciliation, petty cash and room inventory controls.
• Follow company’s procedures in guest complaint handling and give guidelines under the GM’s or/and Assistant Hotel Manager’s instructions.
• Evaluate Guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement (questionnaires and social media)
• Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules (Housekeeping and Front office)
• Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and suppliers
• Recruit, manage, train and develop the Room Division team
• Contribute to succession planning within the hotel and company
• Ensure team members comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
