Περιγραφή

Omya Hellas is currently looking for an energetic Logistics Administrator to support our Customer Service and Logistics department through a variety of tasks. You will be exposed to our talented workforce and diverse company culture while having the opportunity to make an impact on our business.

Logistics Administrator responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized and understand the order fulfillment cycle. Ultimately, you will ensure our customers receive the right orders on time. Ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, be passionate about providing the best journey for the customers, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and be able to handle a high volume admin based role.

The position is permanent at our premises in the Industrial Zone of Thessaloniki (Sindos).

Job Duties:

  • Knowledge of the key logistics procedures, order processing and documents issuance
  • Issue shipping documents for loaded and delivery orders (like invoices, delivery note, purchase orders etc)
  • Scan and file freight documentation
  • Planning shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Provide excellent service to customers through email and phone
  • Provide sales support, pricing, rate quotations, and rate filing
  • Provide information to customers about the status of their orders
  • Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage export/import process
  • Plan and arrange logistics required shipments such containers deliveries, vessel loading
  • Ensure that all 3rd party providers fully respect and comply with Omya values, politics, procedures, safety rules
  • Support the team with day-to-day operations

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • High school or university degree preferably in Logistics or Economics field
  • Experience At least 2 years in logistic or supply chain. 

Knowledge and skills (general, technical and soft skills)

  • Understanding of road/sea transportation, Knowledge of import/export procedure.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization, 
  • ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, ability to prioritize, 
  • take initiative with pro-active approach to problem solving, and have the ability to work well in a team environment. 

Other requirements (certifications, specialized training, languages)

  • English- middle level-writing and speaking
  • Computer MS Office (excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of logistics software, Entersoft preferably
