Ioniki Sfoliata S.A., a dynamic food manufacturing company is looking for a LOGISTIC & WAREHOUSE MANAGER

We are looking for a logistic & warehouse manager to join our team. We are based in Neohorouda, Thessaloniki.

Role Description
The role is responsible for warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of our product portfolio.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
The position suits an ambitious professional who will want to apply his/her experience to deliver results and develop the business further.

Activities & Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Recruit, select, coach and motivate employees
• Manage & control warehouse processes from order execution, picking, palletization, inventory recording, quality, invoicing, team & shift management, routing, etc.
• Determines the storage and distribution strategies to facilitate the implementation of service level agreements and to achieve service excellence and cost efficiency
• Conducts the planning for warehouses and distribution centers to achieve efficiency in both operations and capacity
• Identifies value-added processes and foster operational excellence across manufacturing and distribution
• Redesigns transportation models for service excellence and analyses data to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
• Performs operational audits continuously to ensure compliance of procedures according to legislation, safety regulations, quality standards and environment protection

Job Requirements

• BSc in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation, or Engineering
• Commercial Awareness
• Ability to approach tasks and projects logically & systematically
• Excellent User of MS Office particularly Excel & Outlook.
• Fast Thinker, Hard Worker & highly adaptable
• Good to work under extreme pressure in demanding and fast-moving environment where multi-tasking is the norm
• A gifted communicator who can explain in simple terms the thinking behind actions, design, content & strategy
• Excellent overall communication skills both written & verbal in both Greek and English & well-polished soft skills
• First class skills in analysis, organising & prioritising tasks with minimal micro-management needs
