Front Office Manager (Ref: ES/FOM21)

• Greet guests courteously upon arrival and escort them to the properties
• Handles guest needs, inquiries and requests while respond appropriately to guests complains
• Serves as a central communication point during emergency/crisis situations while ensures smooth operation of all hotel’s departments
• Responsible for the smooth operation of the front desk by training, supervising, evaluating and supporting the front office team
• Handle guest queries and complaints in a polite and professional manner
• Provide information about local facilities such as restaurants, shops and activities
• Upselling and maximizing profits by suggesting upgrades or other add-ons to generate more revenue
• Be responsible and control cash, credit card and other financial tasks taking place in the front office department
• Ensure front desk is tidy and all office supplies are in place

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a 4 star or 5-star boutique hotel environment
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and of at least one PMS software (ie. Protel,) and P.O.S. system
