Accounting Manager - IFRS Expert

Where you’ll work:
The Accounting Manager - IFRS Expert has full responsibility over the company’s financial statements preparation under IFRS on a monthly basis while ensuring compliance with standing accounting principles (IFRS).

The role is based in Nea Moudania in Halkidiki and it’s a permanent role.

What you’ll do:
• Participate in the preparation of the company’s periodic and annual standalone (B/S, P/L, Cash Flow and notes to the FS) under IFRS.
• Participate in the preparation of all necessary reporting and ad hoc analysis to the management
• Provide supervision and leadership, career development and up-skilling of its direct subordinates
• Manage a group of 4 people and follow tight deadlines
• Report to the Chief Accountant of the Group

• A University degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A professional qualification (ACCA or IESOEL) or a Master’s Degree will be considered a strong asset.
• Up to 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally part of which gained in a big-4 audit environment (Advisory –accounting services sector).
• Excellent knowledge of Taxation and proven experience in tax audits
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in IFRS
• Knowledge of M&A
• Working experience in a multinational environment
• Very good knowledge of Entersoft ERP.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (verbal and written)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
