Required academic background, knowledge, and experience:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s or technical degree is a plus
5-7 years international purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment including operational material planning, preferable within a technical business environment
Advanced to Expert knowledge of SAP and MRP systems
Good Knowledge of relevant Quality Management System, min ISO9001
International business and contract management experience
Intercultural experience with European, Asian and US vendors
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Business English skills, oral and written; working knowledge of basic accounting
Ability to travel approximately 20-30%
