As an IT Network & Support Engineer you will need to provide pre-sales & after-sales support and the products that Orthology offers including the following key areas:
• Support through online helpdesk
• On-site support to clients (support contracts)
• Maintenance & support of company infrastructure
• Participate in product installations, setup & configurations at client’s environment/infrastructure
• Update IT procedures manual & related files for internal use
Basic Duties
1. Provides operational support to various sites, in terms of infrastructure (network, systems, equipment) and users.
2. Provides support to Managed Services customers, based on SLAs
3. Continuously monitors and manages corporate/customer infrastructure (computers, networks and equipment), to:
a. prevent or resolve outages and clear alerts, or route/escalate issues appropriately for further investigation.
b. performs necessary maintenance work, including scheduled or unscheduled tasks (e.g. cleaning & repairing, patching & updating etc.).
c. to identify new capacity requirements, and suggest necessary upgrades, improvements or procurement of new equipment.
4. Receives, acknowledges and appropriately handles or escalates customer tickets/cases/ requests.
5. Remain familiar with latest OS, Business Applications, Web Platforms & Orthology products.
6. Maintains deep knowledge of standard Office Applications (e.g. MS Office), Tools (e.g. Todo Backup) and Utilities, used during performance of duties or when supporting customers.
