ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the largest telecommunications providers in Greece, is seeking for a DevOps Engineer to join their world class software development team.

DevOps Engineer (5467 /ESS/DE/GR)

Main Tasks

• Maintain and scale our current Kubernetes environment.
• Help define the future of our artifact and container-based deployment strategies.
• Monitor and tune production systems performance.
• Be part of the capacity planning for new projects in terms of hardware requirements, using proven best practices.
• Work directly with engineers to provide a polyglot-friendly experience and first-class support for platforms built on Java, Python, Go, php, NodeJS and more.
• Trouble-shoot deployment or performance issues.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Passion for technology and customer experience.
• Working experience in Agile environments/teams will be highly appreciated.
• Develop applications and tools written in Python and Golang.
• Become part of development on tools for automating deployments, unify platform metrics, reporting and monitoring.
• Deep knowledge on Linux system administration.
• Working experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container-focused Linux distributions, and virtualization in the cloud.
• Knowledge with Devops tools like Jenkins, Gitlab/GitHub, Grafana, Prometheus, Helm.
• Good programming background in python and/or Go would be considered a plus
• Certification from a cloud provider t (Azure, AWS, etc.) would be considered a plus
