Friendly, out-going, passionate and able to relocate? On behalf of our client, a Luxury Hotel in Naxos , UWORC is looking to recruit a waiter or waitress.
As a part of a hotel staff team, you will meet people from all over the world through providing excellent guest services. In order to be successful in this job you must be friendly and patient with all guests, enquiring about their needs and ensure they have a satisfactory dining experience.
What to expect:- Maximum of 9 working hours per day, including a 30 minute break.
- Two days off per month.
- Payment within the first five days of each month.
- All wages and benefits are included as required by law.
- Two meals per day.
- Accommodation inside or outside the establishment with or without cohabitation (maximum number of people in the room depending on room measurements).
- Training and Development.
The Role:- Greet customers and hand out menus.
- Performing opening duties such as setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins and replenishing condiments.
- Take meal and beverage orders from customers and place these orders in the kitchen.
- Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials.
- Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared.
- Check that guests are satisfied with their meal.
- Prepare the bill for tables when requested.
- Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid.
- Administer change to tables if needed.
- Maintain dining area clean.

- Previous experience as a waiter in hotels or restaurants.
- Able to speak Greek and English language clearly and fluently. A third foreign language will be considered an asset.
- Able to always provide excellent guest services as an ambassador of Greek hospitality.
- Previous knowledge of POS and PDA systems will be considered an asset.
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
