ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a luxury retail company of lifestyle beach concept stores is looking for a driven Accountant to join their team.
Senior Accountant (Ref. 3527/SA/ESS/GR)
Responsibilities:

Handling and/or managing all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, travel expenses, taxes, and closing the books each month

Other key responsibilities will include ensuring timely filings (i.e. sales tax, business licenses, etc.), audits, responding to inquiries from providers, employees and senior management, implementing necessary accounting processes and procedures

Verifying accurate standard costs and monitoring inventory transactions

Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger

Forecasting – preparation of weekly profit forecast and measure against subsequent performance

Ensure adherence to the Company policy re purchase of goods and services.

Complete ad-hoc projects as requested (management reporting, etc.)

Compliance with company procedures, security, stock control and health and safety
