EASO Operations Assistants on Reception

Job Description

• Provide direct operational support to EASO staff in the location where EASO implements operations;
• Support in the implementation of the EASO reception support measures;
• Support in the organisation of relevant meetings and workshops;
• Participate in the coordination of mapping missions;
• Support in the development of relevant tools for support to RIS;
• Provide support on contract management;
• Liaise and network with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. other European and International institutions, NGOs, Greek Authorities and others under the supervision of EASO staff;
• Compile daily and weekly statistics and reports and provide inputs for briefing requests, state of play of operations;
• Manage documents; provide logistics support;
• Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges;
• Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.

• University degree – preferred and advantageous;
• Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks will be an advantage;
• Very good understanding of the Greek migration and reception context will be an advantage;
• Fluency in English (oral and written);
• Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web based applications;
• Very good intercultural communication skills.
