Store Manager (Thessaloniki)

Optimal HR Group on behalf of its client, a leader company in sporting goods, is seeking for a Store Manager in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall store management and the employee management, guidance and development, according to the Business Plan of the company, in order to achieve and exceed the company’s goals.

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the achievement of the store sales goal as set by the company.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Observe, monitor and control all of the company’s’ procedures (merchandise handling, collection, expenses, and goods) to secure the company’s assets.
• Ensuring high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff.
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths in collaboration with the HR department.
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
• Approximately 2-4 years proven working experience in the retail sector as a team leader or Store Manager.
• Fluency in Greek and English (both oral and written)
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer focus orientation.
• Time management skills.
• Results driven personality.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Good communication ability, both written and verbal.
