Περιγραφή

Omya is a Swiss-owned multinational company active in mining and chemical industry with more than 100 years experience in promoting and selling Calcium Carbonate in Europe and around the world. We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Expert, who will work remotely.

Job Description:
  • Drive improvements in Regulatory Affairs area and enforce the system
  • Maintain and proactively update the necessary knowledge and expertise on EU and international regulations on our products and their application areas- Chemical compliance experience
  • Support in follow up of the regulations for intended uses for all products placing on the market
  • Support the review of new products, new raw materials and product development for regulatory compliance
  • Support for implementation for the food safety, feed safety and other Q+ related management systems (Q+ includes feed, food, pharma, cosmetics, agro) where relevant according to international and internal guidelines.
  • Work within a cross-functional matrix environment including Legal, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing and Innovation team members to review process/ product/ market related requirements
  • Leverage data to continuously improve Product Compliance. Data maintanance in SAP EHS and Product documentation management in relevant area (SDS, declarations, etc.)
  • Support providing regulatory registration support where necessary
  • Support conducting compliance reviews, support risk assessments and audits where relevant; provide training to the appropriate business units where necessary
  • Support managing customer queries, interactions, questions and needs in relevant area. Produce regulatory compliance statements for customers.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience (preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety
  • Experience in SAP EHS
  • Experience using MS Excel and other office applications
  • Fluent in English both written and speaking (reporting will be in English)
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good teamplayer
  • No obstacle for travelling
