MED SEA HEALTH S.A. is currently recruiting for its new 5* hotel MIRAGGIO THERMAL SPA RESORT in Paliouri, Kassandra, Halkidiki, for the following position:

THE ROLE

The Spa Therapist provides luxurious and vibrant experiences and an efficient and courteous service to all guests, in order to maximize the overall guest experience and introduce them to the resort’s signature lifestyle. In specific, the Spa Therapist is required to:

• Perform Spa Treatments such as Deep & Medium pressure massages, Body & Facial treatments, Hydrotherapies & Wraps applications, tailored to the needs of our guests. (training provided)
• Be knowledgeable on all spa services and retail items, communicate effectively with the guests and focus on retail sales, adhering always to the service standards of the resort
• Maintain retail sales targets and build returning businesses
• Keep up with the market and propose new products and treatments to develop the opening spa menu
• Advise the customer of suitable massages and other spa services according to their wishes and needs, and perform massages according to client’s condition (i.e. pregnant, limb or stroked)
• To conduct a detailed tour to all spa facilities at all times
• Prepare the client’s toiletries, oils and lotion and other necessities, prepare the room for the guest and assist them to their designated rooms
• Be aware of all hotel facilities, services, events and offers, and communicate appropriately to guests in order to enhance their overall stay
• Maintain the grooming and personal hygiene standards at all times during the shift
• Act as an ambassador of the resort and the Spa facility, in terms of service excellence, work ethics, responsibility, flexibility, confidentiality and achievement of an outstanding guest experience
• Respect all security, health and safety regulations and fire procedures, and report any hazards or any inappropriate behaviors

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language
• Knowledge of a third language (i.e. Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
• Diploma/degree from technical school or private college in Physiotherapy, Aesthetics, Massage Therapy or other related discipline
• Excellent physical condition
• Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and a sales-oriented mind-setting
• Excellent communication skills, well-groomed appearance, professionalism, and ability to demonstrate passion and to transmit exquisite service standards to guests
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members and company personnel
• Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures and capable of adhering to operating and maintenance company standards
