Eagles Palace & Eagles Villas, a unique 5* Luxury Resort in Greece is seeking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.

Location: Ouranoupolis, Chalkidiki

Position Summary
The Assistant F&B Manager will have to oversee and manage all Food & Beverage operations within budget and according to company’s standards. All Food & Beverage outlets shall be operated in an efficient way with a view to maximizing guest satisfaction. The Ass. F&B Manager will have to report directly to the Hotel Manager and to F&B Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle operational problems, be always present and set an example in departments during operational hours, lead and assist F&B teams
• Monitor costs and recommend measures to control them when needed; assist all department supervisors and managers in sales and marketing activities
• Oversee storage and correct use of equipment, order supplies and continuously make necessary improvements
• Motivate and mentor all F&B employees to ensure quality service is received by all guests at all times; conduct regular food and wine tastings for employees
• Assist in recruitment and in the training of teams; identify and analyze training needs, provide regular performance feedback to employees and immediate supervisor; perform seasonal employee appraisals
• Participate in menu design preparations, food tasting, costing and implementation of menus and wine lists
• Plan and coordinate special events; propose menus and wine recommendations
• Preserve excellent levels of customer service; respond to all guest requests / complaints
• Supervise that health and safety standards are met and that all employees work in a safe environment and have knowledge of recent health and safety regulations; ensure employees adhere grooming and hygiene standards
• Prepare reports for management information and improve the profitability of all F&B outlets

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements:
• Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager preferable within a 5* Luxury Hotel
• Wine & beverage knowledge in an upscale environment will be preferred
• Excellent knowledge of English language; a second language (German of Russian) will be considered as a plus
• Computer literacy
• Outstanding communication abilities, strong leadership, stress management and financial skills (budgeting, forecasting)
• Pleasant personality with enviable customer service skills, passionate about the job and focused on providing high quality results
