Large Scale Software Engineer

BrainBox SA is one of the largest companies in the development of specialized software systems for sustainable mobility, shared bicycles, special software for management of remote stations, applications and mobile apps. More than 45 cities in Greece, Cyprus, Poland and Norway host BrainBox mobility systems and software.

We are looking for a Large-Scale Software Engineer, who will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. Responsibilities will include designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of Relevant Large Scale Software Engineering engineering experience
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PHP Experience developing/consuming RESTful APIs and JSON
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.) and/or NoSQL databases
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript
• Version control using Git
• Working with IOT is considered a plus
• Experience building mobile applications is considered a plus
