Job Title: SQL Administrator for IT Operations (m/f)

Location: Göppingen, Germany

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our IT Operations team.

Job Functions
• You take over the independent responsibility for the operation of our distributed database infrastructure
• You provide database access for our development teams and constantly improve DB performance
• You are responsible for ensuring 24/7 operation, installation, upgrades and monitoring of our MSSQL, MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• You monitor backup and recovery and are responsible for monitoring the HA components
• You are responsible for growth and performance analysis and develop strategies for database optimization

• Completed studies in the area of IT or relevant experience
• Very good knowledge in the administration of Microsoft SQL Server from version 2014 and T-SQL
• Basic knowledge of MySQL or NoSQL systems like Cassandra and MongoDB desirable
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems helpful
• Fluent in English and ideally German
• Enthusiasm for new, innovative, and technical subjects along with an understanding of customer and market requirements, trends, and developments in the IT industry
