Production Planner

lmw is seeking for a Production Planner on behalf of a leading company in Food Industry, in Athens.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Forecast market challenges based on competitor analysis and industry trends
• Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production
• Prepare reports about production processes for upper management and suggests ways to improve efficiency
• Conduct market research for profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards and delivery time
• Liaise with Sales & Procurement department, and maintenance employees to ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field is preferred
• 3+ years of working experience in a similar role
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral
• Proficient in use of MS Excel and PowerPoint
