About the role
- Ensure
growth in sales and margin via pricing, product assortment, promotions
- Define
Assortment and distribution per supplier
- Review and design of shop layouts
- Build a
dynamic and healthy product assortment via regular performance analysis and
listings/de listings
- Provide
input to Global Category and Local Commercial Director on category strategy,
tactical execution and commercial plan and budget
- Coordinate
with Operations on Execution and Commercial Plan Implementation
- Setup Promotions with local vendors and input into the
system
- Coordinate on staff training with vendors and
operations
- Develop new
business opportunities and identify improvement areas in handling, structuring
and negotiating with suppliers
- Review &
Control Orders from Operations
- Order
monitoring until delivery
- Effective
and efficient stock monitoring and management in alignment with annual sales
budget
- Ensure goods
destructions are minimized through efficient monitoring and commercial actions
- Drive and
continuously improve category best practices through concrete follow-up and
reporting
- Accountable
for reporting - price & margin deviations, category strategy execution and
operational progress to Commercial Director
- Capture and
develop category and industry expertise on optimal assortment on a local level
and ensure implementation in operations
- Coordinate, Learn
and efficiently collaborate with people within the category and Department
- Ensure
cooperation with other departments
